    Round 1

Janicijevic just drifting in, barely even jabbing, and not accurately or sharply when she does, with Sidorenko keeping a tidier and busier jab on the rigid Serb's nose like a paddle-ball and sometimes reaching in with a cross while stepping around her. When she gets up close, Janicijevic is unloading very sloppy weak underhanded flurries on the hips, nothing else.

    10-9 Sidorenko

    Round 2

Sidorenko starting to have fun, dancing around Janicijevic and peppering her with 1-2s. Janicijevic is only scratching her with long overhand rights and then grabbing her in rough clinches. Sidorenko might have a cut or minor swelling under her eye but nothing to worry about yet.

    10-9 Sidorenko

    20-18 Sidorenko

    Round 3

Sidorenko still in control and landing more cleanly as Janicijevic applies constant but rudimentary pressure, but from the panicked look on her face you'd think Anne Wolfe was walking her down or something. Janicijevic is getting a bomb or two in now and then, but usually grazing and never a follow-up as Sidorenko keeps bouncing around the ring on her toes.

    30-27 Sidorenko

    Round 4

Sidorenko with some darts on the backfoot, doing a full revoltion around the rather large ring before jumping in and tying Janicijevic up. Only two stoppages for the Serb in a dozen bouts, so not sure why Sidorenko is treating her like some lethal puncher. She must be harboring weak whiskers? Or just really not like getting hit, in which case this game mightn't be a great fit..

    10-9 Sidorenko

    40-36 Sidorenko

    Round 5

Sidorenko fleeing and leaving a low body jab hanging out to impale Janicijevic's guts as she trots along in pursuit. Janicijevic has quickened her pace and upper her output slightly from the first few rounds, but is still not connecting with much, and nothing flush enough to warrant this level of respect or concern from her opponent.

    10-9 Sidorenko

    50-45 Sidorenko

7th might have been Janicijevic's first time landing as much as (if not arguably more than) Sidorenko, and it was all much heavier stuff. Ukrainian gal mouth-breathing and not half as elusive as she was in the beginning.

    10-9 Janicijevic

    69-64 Sidorenko

So, it appears a late heroics KO might be a possibility after all...

Janicijevic kicking this girl's ass two rounds on the spin...

    10-9 Janicijevic

Sidorenko clinching like mad in the ninth, and desperately firing straight combos with her back against the ropes but can't fend Janicijevic off. Big wide left hook wrecking balls slamming into the side of Sidorenko's neck and jaw, and when not in range for those Janicijevic fishing with long body shots.

    10-9 Janicijevic

    87-84 Sidorenko

Some meaty exchanges in the middle of the ring! Very bad news for Sidorenko! Fighting her heart out, standing and delivering counters, but Janicijevic is rocking her with slow sledgehammer jabs on the chin! On my card the Serbian woman needs multiple knockdowns if not a KO, and she's hell bent on getting 'em!

...alas, time runs out, and Sidorenko maintained her upright position, and with that, should probably survive the scare and reclaim her old belt.

10-9 Janicijevic (but damn near 10-8 even without a KD)

    96-94 Sidorenko

Man, the highlights they're showing while Sidorenko addresses the fans in a mid-ring interview make it look even worse for her than it seemed live. She took quite a pasting in the second half of that one.

She is obviously popular with the crowd, and had their vocal support throughout a match that honestly wasn't always very exciting, but...I think she might be too soft for this sport. Decent bone structure (if she doesn't have it pounded into ruin), could realistically make a living modeling instead.
