Just rewatched the game again tonight, and i reckon rob deserves a hell of a lot of credit for his work in the corner, i know thats what hes there for, but he really talked a lot of sense to carl when he was in a right old mess after his first ever knock down, he did not shout or swear at him like some do, but was pretty calm, and though yeah he bullshitted him at times about the score, he made sure carl knew he had to take him out in the last round, wonderful coner work imo, rob was a decent fighter, hes turning out to be a wonderful trainer

    He's a great trainer.

When Froch said 'I won that one' McCracken said 'No you didn't, you're about four behind' which, at that point was about where he was.

No bullshitting, McCracken is a very good trainer. There's a thread about how Froch could improve his defence with another trainer. He will do what he needs to when HE feels he needs to.

A bit of a shitty attitue, but it's what makes Froch who he is and why he's got so many fans excited with that win over Taylor.

I agree and i made a thread for him on the British Forum.
As was pointed out Froch wasn't really listening to the advice but still i thought McCracken was superb:good

Yeah his defence is a bit ****, but rob told him time and again to keep his hands up, not much he can do if the guy dont do it now at aged 31, its the way he fights, just like a real life cobra who waits for his victim to get close haha, doubt he thought jermain would be so damn quick, some of the shots he took were insane, many a man would not have stayed up
