the moment you tell me what i think or feel you invalidate your own argument. i picked up on someone calling mccracken a liar for claiming froch recovered between rounds 1&2, amongst other ludicrous conjecture. a rematch is in order, but a man of froch's age would be foolhardy to jump straight back in against such a younger, fresher opponent. let him have his payday v chavez, he's getting on. the stoppage has worked against froch more than groves, a gift for sure, but an indian gift. i'm in the boozer with mates, don't expect any more sense tonight!

I've not put words in Carl's mouth. He's the one spouting off about Vegas and other opponents than GG. I'm more than a little disappointed in Carl as I expected more and that's why I've been so vociferous on his conduct post-fight.

He's definitely ducking GG now claiming opinions are changing and interest is fading. So can we all drop the Carl Froch is a warrior who doesn't duck anyone BS now?

Froch and his team will know he dodged a bullet and and wont want another, from his point of view in fighting GG again ?Groves is getting better while Froch is getting older...

Chavez jr in vegas for Froch where he can bow out without the whole British public turning on him again after more excuses...

Froch struggling to speak clearly on ringside last night, Groves either broke his jaw or cheekbone.

It was quite shocking how bad his speech was, can't really blame him for dodging the groves rematch. He'll get beaten up worse next time, actually felt sorry him trying to convince himself he won with a legit stoppage. Thanks for the good times Carl but time to hang em up.

i think using his face as a defence is rapidly catching up with Froch,he should probably call it a day

as for his trainer ,his middle name should be 'tongue'

I'm sure I heard a story saying for days after the Pascal fight Froch was calling his brother or friend by a different name...

Maybe somebody on here knows exactly what that was all about...

The way things are going Froch will sound like James Toney in about 3 years.

This PR campaign by the Froch team to legitimise one of the worst decisions in British boxing history is doomed to failure. The sooner they realise this the better.

Exactly, Froch would get a lot of respect from everyone if he had come out after and said it was a poor stoppage, I felt I was taking control but the ref should have allowed it to go on. Let's get the rematch on'.

Then after if he had given Groves his dues for putting up a great fight, and continued to make it clear that he wants the rematch, he'd get a lot of praise and kudos from fans. But his ego and the fact he's a horrible person won't allow him to do this

I don't even want him to say anything like that, he can remain neutral for all I care and place the blame squarely on the ref - but he is intent on justifying it. There is nobody on the planet who can honestly say that was a fair stoppage.

He needs to try to stop conning the public, no-one is falling for it.
