    I know baldy might put Stieglitz out but I'm going with Stieglitz on this one. I think he's going to surprise a lot of people and show that him and AA are both in the same class, the class under Ward, and the class under that with Dirrell, Froch, Kessler and Bute.

    Since both fighters fight regularly in Germany, their names have been changed accordingly to appeal to a wider German audience. I'm not much of a fan of that procedure but it is what it is. What's your point again?

    Stieglitz actually is of German descent. Shtikhlits is only a transcribed version of the German name "Stieglitz". His family emigrated to Russia in the 1800s, I believe. He only changed his first name to Robert.

    A-ha! I had a hunch Shtikhlits was only a Russianized form of Stieglitz, which is a very common Germanic surname (with a few variations on the spelling).

    Stieglitz is short for Stieglitsizzi, the Italian surname, which means "tainted by the crust" in ancient Latin. I'm not sure what that is supposed to describe, but, yeah, Forza told me Stieglitz was Italian.
