SAT1 on SAT1. (that is, Saturday the 1st of March on the German channel SAT1) :D

As in their previous battles, the WBO 168lb championship - the one christened by Hearns and then further legitimized by Eubank and Calzaghe - is on the line.

    Stieglitz's 2nd reign, 3rd defense. (9th defense lifetime)

Abraham is looking to start a third world title reign, second at super middle.

Abraham is 13-3 (8.) and Stieglitz is 10-2 (4) in world title bouts.

Stieglitz as in the rematch has the hometown advantage in Magdeburg - the same advantage Abraham had in their first encounter in his adopted home of Berlin.

Be careful with that. Mentioning that channel can get you banned. :err

    Looking forward to it :bbb
Going for the draw, and all the people who have voted thus far agree with me.

    Who r u picking?

I go with Stieglitz to do it again. I can see Stieglitz throwing everything but the kitchen sink on AA but AA still standing and referee stops it.

Stieglitz will work that body, yeah work that body, work it out, yeahhh.

edit. ffs, I did not read that quote in your posts I thought it was another poster quote, sry.

:blood It should've been pretty obvious in the post you quoted from. :yep :heedtheIB: In fact, I even said it outright. (except for specifying result type)

Stieglitz overwhelms him to another TKO or else takes a very wide UD.

Can't really see the need for this to happen a third time. Stieglitz will coast to another easy win. I was hoping we'd see Robert in with Groves in the near future.

You said Abraham didn't hurt Stiegliz over two fights - I'm pretty certain that's inaccurate. I haven't seen either fight ever since they were televised but I'm sure Stieglitz got rocket pretty badly in the early to mid rounds in their first fight. Round 4 if I remember correctly.

When they're knotted 1-1 and it will sell (and this will, in Germany) you can always count on it getting made even if there was a conclusive outcome already.

That's why, if Marquez vs. Pacquiao V is made and Marquez beats him again, even by knockout, there will be a call for Marquez vs. Pacquiao VI because they'll be knotted up at 2-2-1 in the series. Sports fans have innate obsessive need for closure on paper, beyond 'in point of fact'. :yep

Steglitz should win and I'd be surprised if he doesn't.

Problem is the belt will probably stay in Germany as I don't see Steglitz fighting unifications with the likes of Ward or Froch. Maybe I'll be proved wrong.

Abe landed a big right but Stieglitz took it well (as he did all throughout). There was no blood in the water, so to speak.

Stieglitz actually still won the 4th, as very little landed for Abraham besides that one big clubbing right. (after several missed or got blocked)

Yeah it's annoying. I remember being worried that we were going to be sold Rafa Marquez V Vazquez 5 despite them both being a shadow of what they had been.

Stieglitz takes this again IMO, he "just" has to relentlessly attack from the opening bell on. Right overhand, then hold. Right overhand, then hold. Rinse and repeat. Abraham didn't know how to handle that.
