    One thing I can toot my own horn about, is knowing how to correctly pronounce the name "Sartre" (since he wrote some of my favorite books).

    So often I have to correct smart-asses who took philosophy classes in college and think they're so clever pronouncing it "Sart" the way their equally linguistically ignorant professors do (as though it rhymes with tart; thinking mistakenly that it follows the same rule as a word like "macabre" with the last syllable silent)

    It isn't. It's sarr-truh. :good
