    A few of his fights have been boring up to the point of the KO, but usually the KO makes up for it. The David Banks fight, for example.

    Who knows? I think he might pull it of and KO Miranda. But it´s gonna be a tough match....

    I hear you. I don't know a thing about Stieglitz so this is not a fight that I can comment much on. I guess that's why I started the thread, for a little insight. Then again, I don't see why it should be too hard to find some youtube footage of Stieglitz (I do not recall ever seeing him on American television). That leads me to another topic concerning this fight. Who is televising it? Something tells me it will not be on American television. I want to see this fight dammit!

    I like both guys so I don't really care who wins. I just hope the winner fights Bute in a unification bout. The chances of that happening will be much higher is Miranda wins.

    Stieglitz fought Librado Andrade on HBO back in 2008. The winner became Bute's mandatory challenger.

    Didn't I see Stieglitz get beat down by Andrade a while back? My kneejerk reaction here is to take Miranda in this one.

    I havent heard anything about broadcasting over here yet. I doubt it will be picked up by any major network live. I am pretty sure it will be some some type of internet broadcast though, possibly a small pay per view amount. As soon as I here something I will keep you posted.

    Stieglitz isn't that good, I think and hope Miranda can KO him. From what I have seen Stieglitz has a fighters heart, but he is not great at anything, nothing stands out about this guy, so against Miranda he needs to outwork him, while Miranda should try to hurt Stieglitz with his akward powerful punches. It's for the least important title, but if Miranda lands this he can talk his trash with a belt behind him, and maybe lure some of the top talent in smw to fight him maybe in a unification match.

    i havent seen much of miranda except both abrams fights but by all accounts this is a very tough first defence for stieglitz

    Miranda's only lost to really god fighters -Pavlik, Abraham, Ward. Same time he's beaten decent fighters relatively easily -Green, Eastman. I don't think Stieglitz will have enough to keep Miranda at bay. It'll be nice to see Miranda get a title, hopefully he goes on to unify with Bute or fill in for anyone who drops out of the super six.

    seems like against anyone who isn't an elite miranda generally gets an easy KO.
