Not at all. Weber had some moments there.

It's a stay-active fight for Stieglitz while he's waiting for Kessler.

Weber isn't very good, but he is undefeated and ranked by the WBO.

    Round 2

Stieglitz circles right and lobs some sickle shots at Weber in combination, arcing up from low with the left and high with the right. Body shots by Stieglitz. Weber tries to jab his way straight in and gets grabbed, pushed back, and jabbed at. Stieglitz drops his left shoulder and tackles straight into Weber. Good combo by Stieglitz, left upper-hook and right hand. Looping right to the head by Stieglitz as Weber ducks in. Clinch. Time out called. Head clash knocked out Weber's gum shield, or a punch. Couldn't tell. Jab by Stieglitz. Long combo by Stieglitz, all into the guard. Weber tries a right uppercut but it's very noodled and loose. Big slapping left hook to the face by Stieglitz, who then leans in with both arms against Weber. Several light jabs by Stieglitz into the guard, then more leaning. Ugly but effective. Stieglitz dances out and throws a 1-2, holding Weber back. Another duck in and push off. Left hook, right hand by Stieglitz. Another left hook. Body shots by Stieglitz. Weber is just trying to get close without getting hit, covering up. No punches coming. They clinch and Weber tries an uppercut.

    20-18 Stieglitz

...and yet not the least deserving/skilled super middleweight world title challenger of the last year, sadly. :-( That distinction belongs to Jaime Barboza.

Weber would smash Barboza up. :yep

Stieglitz with a high workrate and pace. If he fails to stop Weber soon he might encounter stamina problems. He'll probably stop him in time though.

    Round 3

Stieglitz is jabbing and hopping all around Weber, circling nonstop. Good ranged archery by Stieglitz, diving in to lean on Weber when he gets tired. The crowd cheers when he lands his hooks or rights diving in, but there isn't much in the way of sustained action. Weber is blocking with his guard centered between his eyes but not landing much in counter as Stieglitz dives in or circles. Weber keeps trying uppercuts when they slam together but getting stifled. Stieglitz jabs and backs up to land a right hand. Right by Weber is caught on the back of Stieglitz's glove. Pumping straight shots by Stieglitz standing in front of Weber. Now some left hooks to the body, slapping hard. Another pair of hooks down low.

    30-27 Stieglitz

30-27 Stieglitz. Good effort from Weber though. He is giving it his all but it's just not enough.
