Could Duran at lightweight beat Carnera who faced Loughran ?
    A man twice Duran's weight.

Is Duran literally more than twice as good as Carnera, pound for pound ?

Or would Carnera eke out a decision win, as he did against Loughran?

He is possibly ten times as good pound for pound, but that doesn't mean he can concede over a 100pounds to Primo

Mathematically he should be able to fight on equal terms with a man twice his weight if he's twice as good pound-for-pound.

If ... one Duran pound = two Carnera pounds
Then ... it should be a DRAW

This is a horrible matchup for Canera. His attempts to hit Duran would be akin to trying to catch a fly with chopsticks.

Leonard could barley land a glove on Duran in his prime. Duran would hurt Carnera with his inside game and although he may never hit the big man in the face, poor Carnera would have his ribs bruised and eventually topple over like a giant tree.

    Duran KO in 6

Pre-1970, the adavantage went to the small guy. It was only until Sonny Liston revolutionized the jab, that the favor started to switch over to the big men.
