Lunacy. DeJesus would never win a round against Pernell Whitaker. Whitaker never lost at lightweight either, (the Ramirez fight was a robbery,Whitaker won it with one arm). DeJesus wasn't THAT good. How on earth Duran had a three fight series with him, (and losing one of them to boot), is beyond me. He must have been partying the night before.

You obviously never saw DeJesus in his prime. He was one heck of a fighter.
His misfortune was coming along at the time when the greatest lightweight in
history was coming into the peak of his powers.
I agree he doesn't beat Whitaker in his prime, but he was skilled enough to
win more than a round or three against him.
