Only because a legend says something , it not has to be true.
Duran exaggerates , Mayweather fought everybody of his era , he fought Pacquiao,Marquez,Cotto,Maidana,
De la Hoya,Mosley and a lot more good Fighters . He fought a lot of them where he was the older.
I am not a Mayweather fan , but this is simply not true.
Only because of that Fight with Castillo , that was only one Fight. Duran lost 16 times in his career.
I dont see his Point at all.
It is easy to say i would have beaten someone , when im 65 years old and not fighting anymore.

Roberto Duran would have massacred Floyd Mayweather. Their fight only ends in Mayweather being destroyed. He would get hit hard and he will go down.

 

He quit against Leonard because he had a tummy ache and yet you rail against Cotto for quitting against Margarito after being beat with plaster of Paris wraps to within an inch of his life. Some of you guys really amaze me.

 

No he quit because he was swindled by boxing politics who decided that they wanted more cash in such a short amount of time.
