Duran spoke prime elite fighters. Floyd never fought one.great career and longevity . But not TBE career like Duran.

Duran jumped up in weight and beat prime Ray.

Duran only reminds us how great the competition used to be.

I think many older people.who saw the career of Duran laugh at the idea of Floyd being TBE.

Lighweight and young Duran was animal. Duran LW career triumphs over Floyd entire career.nevermind if you add Ray and later MW title.battle with Hagler.

Duran is no coward. But he did quit out of embarrassment. Cramps were bull****, he just got clowned. But he's no coward. If he is, then pretty much everyone is.

 

The problem with fans these days is they throw around the word "elite" and give that title too easily. When it comes down to it there has only been a handful of elite fighters that ever stepped into the ring. I would argue that Duran is one of them. His career after the notorious "no mas" fight was no joke, any fighter would be proud of a career like that. Throw in his career before that and you get the very best of the best and he and a few others have separation among that group too. The man was awesome! FM is/was a great fighter, but didn't have the great opponents to fight like Duran. In all honesty, I can't say who would win in a prime for prime fight between Duran and Floyd. Duran is definitely great enough to make FM dig deep and need to use many tools in his bag to survive, let alone win.

 

Almost fans had Castillo winning the first fight, so much so that a rematch was ordered, of course Mayweather's judges gave Void the fight, but Castillo won, I agree with Duran.............
