I think Duran would win a decision. Roberto was so quick on the attack and he was able to keep his defense tight while moving in. Duran was an elusive target moving forward.
I don`t believe Mayweather would be able to fight at the pace that he was comfortable. Duran would make him fight 3 minutes a round and punch more than he wanted to. He would have to fight Duran off him in a sense.
Floyd is a great fighter and I believe he would give a good account of himself. I`m sure he would score some sharp counters on Duran as well. The margin for error would be slim for Mayweather.
Duran`s right hand was so quick and he knew how to set it up.

The "Montreal" version of Duran would win.

I would say Floyd, but it's only Maidana II Floyd. No I'll still say Floyd wins.

Because it makes the fight fairer for Duran.

The Duran of Montreal stops Floyd, Duran walked thru the Hellfire and Bad intentions of Leonard that night. A Leonard that hit a lot harder then Floyd and just as fast, if not faster at that weight. Against Floyd who has stopped only three fighters at welter and one was a little on the cheap shot side. How would Floyd (any version at welter) keep that version of Duran off of him? I'm sorry but I just don't see it. And my opinion also is Floyd would've never got in the ring with Duran or any other prime welters. He would in my opinion found away to maneuver out the fight.

Wow.. Placing these expectations on Floyd in some of these impossible scenarios must be admission of his greatness of some.

Duran stops him that Duran was one of the best and that Duran was fast, vicious and heartless.

Leonard is an ATG love him or leave him and as a welterweight was one of the best, he was 5'10" and a skinny 147, he was bigger and stronger than FMM he was a proven tougher fighter when it came to digging down.

Duran beats the hell out of him. Not exactly a fair matchup.

Mayweather of the Hatton fight is a much fairer matchup. I'd pick Duran to win but Floyd would be competitive and make Duran really work for the win, unlike a 37 year Mayweather who would get busted up badly.

Same at 135 and 140. I think Floyd beats or is competitive with anyone from 140 and under. Duran I would pick with more confidence than anyone else to beat Floyd.

Montreal Duran beats any version of Floyd, let alone the Maidana version.

Ah. Well, that makes sense. The little Panamian often had a torrid time in there.
