Roberto Duran (Montreal) vs Floyd Mayweather (Madiana II)

I think most people understand that. I believe that had they faced off in their 20s Duran wins. On the other hand had they fought as older fighter Floyd wins. Duran was still good in his 30s but not the same fighter he once was. Mayweather could dictate the pace against the older, slower, plodding Duran.

This is a non fight.... Duran STOMPS

 

This Duran is 29 and this Floyd is 37. New Orleans Duran would be a much more fair opponent for this version of Mayweather. He wasn't much older but, he was a quitter that night.

 

On the other hand, to make it a fair fight, use the Floyd that fought Marquez or Mosley to fight this Duran. That would be a much tighter match up.

 

I'd still pick Duran but unlike 'Montreal Duran' against an over the hill Floyd it would be a competitive fight.

 

It's strange how Duran completely lost his ability to deal with movement less than a year later.
