A prime Duran gets ducked and dodged by Mayweather. No way in hell Fraud would sign a contract to fight Duran. He'd get slaughtered.

He also was the easiest fight Leonard had post 1980. Ray beat him in the rematch easily and made him quit. Once Ray moved and used his speed he won easily, as did Benitez, as did Hearns. And Mayweather is a guy who Duran would not have beaten.

stylewise Mayweather wins this fight easily. Duran had his feet too wide apart to be able to beat Mayweather. Just wouldn't happen. Then after Duran would not give Mayweather credit and say he was out of shape and partied instead of trained.

well fact is Duran never knocked out a great fighter. So to this day of all the fights Duran had he never knocked out a great fighter let alone knocked him out cold which you say he would Mayweather. Evidence shows Duran would lose a decision. Benitez vs. Duran would be how Mayweather Duran would go.

A prime Duran never fought the caliber of Mayweather. The only time he fought that caliber was when he moved up and fought Leonard,Hearns,Benitez, and he lost to all of them and he lost easily to all. That is significant. You cannot compare Lampkin to Mayweather. You cannot compare Dejesus to Mayweather. No one he fought at lightweight is close to Mayweather. His caliber at lightweight was mediocre. He was dominant, but we saw against top guys that the speed neutralized that dominance.

you really think Mayweather would fight Duran's fight like Leonard did? No way. He would move and counter and use his speed and befuddle Duran and win a decision. This one is easy to see. Wilfred Benitez was a lot like Mayweather. Counterpuncher, fast and he was from 140, near where Duran started, so the size thing was not a big deal, and Benitez outclassed Duran in Jan of 1982 when Duran was 30 years old. Duran fought another 21 years. What surprised me is how other people who study boxing do not see how Duran could not deal with speed. Somehow his machismo and dominance against the lesser guys made people think he could dominate the greats. Then when he lost against the greats, he was a small fighter in thier mind so he had an excuse. Yet Duran fought at 154 as early as 1978, before Hearns,Benitez or Leonard ever fought at that fight. So much for him being smaller or old.. Too many excuses. Mayweather would outbox Duran and win a decision at lightweight if he was experienced enough, but at welt he easily wins. And I am not a Mayweather fan. But I saw the Benitez fight with Duran. Duran had 15 rounds to cut off the ring.

The reason Duran beat SRL the first time is because SRL stood there and slug with him and that wasn't SRL. PBF, would have done that, he would be moving in and out all night and Pbf is one of the greatest defensive fighters ever and he would time Duran enough times to win a decision.

And I am not a Duran fan. But I saw the Castillo fight with Mayweather. Mayweather had trouble with that level of pressure.

Mayweather would outbox Duran. The plodding style of Duran never could deal with speed. When he was young he was ferocious and his power was incredible. When they named him hands of stone it was true, but guys stood in front of him. Watch when he fights better guys he is not as effective. He had this plodding style where he rocked back and forth trying to get inside and that didn't work with guys like Benitez or Hearns. It never would.

Duran would have KO ed him ..What real advantages does Floyd have over DURAN ?

You bring up his loss to Radar but he himself was a hall of famer ..Maybe it may not end in a ko but the best Duran beats the best Floyd who has never reallly fought a fighter on the level of hands of stone ..Thats just my opinion ..
