In the 1980s, Pac would've had to beat some of the weakest title holders to get 8 divisional titles....even then, it wouldn't happen.

Like I said, if it's that easy than everybody would be 6-7 division champ nowaday.

Duran is top 3 ATG Pac would have gotten his ass kicked espacially at 135 (and I know Pac never fought at that weight). Duran fought like a deamon in that ring like the DEVIL was in his body

What he has done is very impressive. But how far do you see him getting when he has
    130- Arguello
    135- Duran
    140- Pryor
    147- Leonard/Hearns
    154- Benetiz

    to get though.

Could be but we wouldn't know since PAC is not from that era. However PAC is from the 00's era and he's been able to become an 8 divisions champ there. No other boxer has been able to do that except for him.

of course pac would kill him - now !

The Duran of 1972 - 1978 would have eaten Pac up at 135 - 140 :good

@ 147 It would be Pac all night long - he's carried his strength and power up through the weights far better than Duran did .

Dont write Duran off by looking at his losses when he was an old man - many regard as the finest lightweight of all time .

that list is awe inspiring ,

Arguello at 130 is like JMM x 10 - a nightmare for pac
same with duran at 135 though I would pick him over the hawk at 140.

Enough with the " weight of poor pac when he first stepped into the ring " BS - its old and stale , just like the rest of the mouthh breathers who get boxing fans a bad name when they say pacs losses were so long ago they dont count anymore .

of course they count , and dont cite the Hearns loss as a reason why pac would destroy duran - that version of Hearns would blast out Cotto, margarito and anyone else you want to hold up as an example of your boys greatness.

:deal Who is this clown sayin the 80s had some weak titlists?:rofl Pacman wouldnt even get past Salvador Sanchez @ 126. Pryor might of been 50-50, but Pryor was a beast in his own right. I like Pacman, but what these catchweights and mismatches are doing is making a mirage. Clottey is the only ww Ive seen who was at his best when he fought Pacman. Duran would be all over Pacman like Ike on Tina.

I give Sugar Ray Leonard and Thomas Hearns more a chance to beat Manny than roberto Duran. Duran lacks wins over manny level great fighters. Hearns and Leonard beat the best!!!! ROberto Duran was always smoke and mirrors when it came to beating good guys!!!! I wish my favorite fighter Pernell Whitaker would ahve fought Roberto. He would have beaten him handily.

Pacman vs. Arguello would have been such a great fight. Very dangerous for both men. I think Pacman is 50/50 with Arguello and Pryor and at a significant disadvantage with everyone else. Arguello's right would find a home on Manny's jaw quite often, though. That punch was an absolute killer.

Out of that group, I feel Benitez is the least interesting and competitive fight and Arguello, Pryor and Duran would all be very interesting. As a clash of styles I like Arguello, a tall rangy powerpuncher vs. Pacman. All action? Pryor vs. Pacman and Duran vs. Pacman. Those would be great. Pryor may even lose. Duran was crafty and versatile and had a great right and that's why I think he'd beat Pacman, but it wouldn't be a one sided thrashing but rather a competitive fight with Pacman and Duran going at eachother every step of the way with Duran just being better.

Pacman would have been a champion, no doubt, just not in as many divisions. Probably one, maybe two if he's opportunistic, three if he's lucky.

Also: Floyd is a **** talker who annoys a lot of people but he isn't a coward. He steps into the ring against some real tough fighters and beats them all. That isn't cowardice. I think he has some personal problems and an act to uphold, but he's technically great and a lot of fun to watch at times. To disregard what he's done in the ring would belie appreciation of the sport.

Roberto is a legend and he's earned his right to be that confident. I actually think at the lower weights Roberto beats PAC. Hell....a prime Roberto beats ALL of the current fighters from 130 to 140.
