If Duran can match SRL toe to toe . . . there's no reason why he can't beat PBF.

Yeah defense . . . defense won't give you rounds against a fighter like Duran.

    Duran smokes PBF's ass.

ROFL. The worst stylistic fight for Mayweather is someone like a prime Mosley. A fighter with strength, speed, and is both taller and has a longer reach, loves a scrap and is gonna keep fighting for 12 rounds. Duran isnt a stylistic problem for Floyd. I dont know where this ludicrous assertion came from that you beat Floyd threw pressure, since nearly every fighter who has pressured him has been stopped. No Duran is a difficult match-up for Floyd because he's Duran.

And for Duran catching Floyd repeatedly with rights? Garbage. Complete and utter garbage. You are talking one of the best defensive fighters in boxing, and have you seen Floyd at 135? You dont think Floyd is gonna be getting off punches. :nut Duran will work at Floyds body. Thats where he is vulnerable. Thats where Castillo had success in the first fight.

Duran is a defensive master himself, very slick and clever on the insight. Mayweather would get owned on the insight and he will not be able to keep Duran away for the full twelve rounds.

Mayweather has absolutely no chance against arguably the best lightweight ever. Duran is a much better fighter than Castillo and Hatton.

good post Judah showed in the first 4 rounds before he was taken to school that speed could trouble him.

Also Duran is a legend and was a fantastic fighter but as time passes people start to build legends up to mythic proportions! This is still the same guy who quit after SRL out boxed him for 7 rounds in the rematch and also in the first fight it was SRL who was winning the later rounds. PBF often gets better as the fight goes on and is usually the one with something left in the tank as the championship rounds come up.

Duran basically dominated Leonard in the first fight until he started coasting in the later rounds, allowing Leonard to catch up. Very competitive, but very clear win for Duran, in one of the best performances ever captured on film.

The circumstances for the rematch are well documented, regardless of whether or not you're simply one of those "excuses, excuses" people. Somewhat Duran's fault, no doubt, but that doesn't change the fact that he was nowhere near his best for the rematch.

Floyd has never fought 15 rounds in his entire career to boot.

Floyd would make him quit just like SRL did.

Your brain is clearly even smaller than your head - which would make it roughly equivalent to a hamster's testicle. Mayweather, great fighter though he is, genuinely would not have a chance against peak Duran at 135. At any weight in fact.
