On the scorecards Mayweather's non-engaging style may do him well. In public opinion Duran. This is one of those fights where the official verdict might not match public opinion.

Duran wins. Just watch the JLC fight vs mayweather and that is your answer. Mayweather cannot handle that kind of pressure.

If 15 rounds was still around, Floyd would have 30 knockouts instead of 25. He'd have stopped Judah and maybe Oscar.

Sugar Ray Leonard easily matched Mayweather in speed and had Tito Trinidad power in both hands. He got beat in a close fight by a motivated Duran. Floyd does not compare to Sugar Ray or Duran. Floyd's right is his ko punch and he can barely hurt DLH with it much less Duran. Duran's right didn't just drop fighters like Floyd did, Duran would put them to sleep. Especially at 135. It'd be a good fight and Mayweather would do rapid combos on Duran, but with Duran's pressure and right hand plus his dirty fighting would make it into a brawl and Duran would bully the bully. Duran would grab his balls with one hand and ko poor floyd with the other. this is a madman we're talking about

Duran was far more than just a bull. That is in fact a terrible comparison that only a novice would make, or agree with. You guys don't seem to understand how immensely skilled Duran was technically as you clearly just haven't seen enough of him and/or don't understand enough about boxing to distinguish the technique and effectiveness in what he does, or did at his best.

I agree that he was more than a "bull". But for me that comparison is great - wild and agressive Duran vs slick and elegant Mayweather

Duran! Not even close IMO....well....aside from the initial 3 rounds. Once Duran gets acclimated to the speed and gameplan of Floyd he begins to eat him up to the body and ultimately KO's Floyd.

Duran was not wild. He was very calculated and aggressive, and overall a more skilled fighter than Mayweather.
