Your triangle theories make zero sense. Stevie didn't just beat Manfredy, he made him look silly. I doubt you've seen these fights. You're clearly a boxrec warrier just naming names for the sake of it. Casa and Castillo could beat all of these fighters you're mentioning - you know this.

Well, aren't you confident in your little incorrect assumptions ? You just don't know anything about the era. I doubt you even know who Hernandez beat, or who he even is for that matter. Resulting in name calling doesn't mean anything. My points still stand.

Of course I know the era. Last time I checked, we got published for our top 100 fighters list...you were nowher to be found. I don't look to change your mind, you like Duran, so do I. I just think Mayweather wins? No need to be upset about it. :eatingburger

I don't care about the Floyd match up. I've debated it in the past in classic, And I normally wouldn't comment here since I don't want to go into it again. I'd pick Duran to win, but Floyd is good enough to make it interesting for quite a bit. All that is subjective.

What I do care about, which is the reason why I ended up replying to you here, is you saying that Castillo beat better Lightweights than Duran did. Which is just totally wrong. Let's just leave it at that and agree to disagree on the Match up between Duran and Floyd.

I care very little about a match up I've seen hundres of times. But if you were to just admit that Duran beat better Lightweights than Castillo, which is only a tiny little task, and the objective truth, then yes that would make me quite happy. ;)

Lol - I can't do that. Castillo was a monster who almost beat Floyd their first fight and outweighed him by a good 15 lbs wihen Floyd was badly injured prefight.

Well, at least I tried. We'll just agree to disagree then. Just letting you know this isn't persosal, I've seen you having some takes I agree with here. But I just made an entire thread in Classic about Duran's greatness and his resume, and I just couldn't let that remark go.

That's true and I agree the Castillo vs Floyd fight (and even the Maidana fight), are always something to consider when matching these two up.

Buuuuut, let's not forget Roberto's fights with Leonard 2 and Benitez. Both were slick defensive boxers that gave Duran two Ls, and considering that Floyd is one of the best ever to do it, I see this fight being waaay more closer than people think.

It's just like when guys keep bringing up the Douglas fight to say Ali would beat Mike easy, when Smokin Joe gave Ali his first L

so....if you choose Duran...it is because of hate? It could be that many consider Duran to have been a tremendous fighter that would give any one a very hard time...and in this case...win.

You seriously comparing absolute prime Duran to Ricky Hatton? I love RH, very entertaining fighter and at LWW a real handful but, compared to an ATG Top 10 and arguably the greatest Lightweight of all time, you are either trolling hard or YDKSAB.

Fluid Chemweather is just about fit to shine Duran's shoes. The resumes alone tell you all you need to know.
