Do you think Duran wins 49 fights against Floyd's opponents or someone catches him in a bad day and upsets him?

How does he do against Corrales, Castillo, Corley, Judah, Hatton, past prime Oscar, Marquez, shot Mosley, Cotto, Alvarez, past prime Pacquiao

I don't think Duran could match him. He wouldn't stay in that sort of shape for 18 years straight.
But if Mayweather was matched on Duran's schedule and opposition he probably wouldn't match up to Duran either. In fact, no way could he.

49-0 With ease. None of Floyd's opponents are a patch on the fighters that Duran faced.

No way he goes 49-0. Lacked the discipline and dedication to the sport, for one thing. And didn't he lose one of the first times he stepped up in class?

Completely agree. Castillo, Corralles, DLH, Mosley, Cotto, Hatton, and Canelo were no Kirkland Laing!

    49- 0 with 49 Ko's.

50-0 with 50 ko's if you include Mayweather.

No, he wouldn't do it. He couldn't even get through his own first 49. They were a smaller and inferior bunch compared to Floyd's comp overall.

Yes, he would go 49-0, but that's not as important here as one glaring point. They would have been entertaining and we'd still be talking about those fights. See the difference?

Nineteen years undefeated is a tall order to match. It requires a level of self discipline to remain in world class shape that is almost superhuman. If we could truncate Mayweather's opponent scedule into Duran's first ten years he still would be hard pressed to go undefeated, as his focus at some point would slip as it did in DeJesus 1. In a ten year span probably 48/1, with a loss somewhere after Delahoya when the big money and good life would erode his work ethic.

I think you nailed it here. Duran at his best, yes. 49-0. But we all know that in reality Duran let himself go and got horribly out of shape between some bouts which affected his performances. Floyd sucks, but he's a true professional, and is always in shape. Got to give him his due in that regard.

Depends over what period of time. He was at one point 71-1. If it's the Duran fighting prior to age 30 or so, there's no reason he couldn't win all of these fights. If it's Duran after 72 fights then it depends which version of Duran shows up.

Actually in my eyes. 71-1 is better than 49-0 so to me he did get throw his first 49 with flying colors.

Can't argue about that, but he was 71-1 at one point, so if these fights took place during that period of time, I don't really see anyone beating him.

If you're talking about stepping up and beating SRL the answer is no, and btw this one win alone beats Mayweather's entire resume.
