    That's hindsite thinking.

Leonard was bigger than Duran, thought to be strong and thought to punch harder. He just won his last 5 fights by knock out, and he had always fought at welterweight. Hell he was the Welterweight Champion.

Duran was coming up from lightweight and only had a 40% KO rate during the same period of time. So it made perfect sense to start off that way. Leonard wasn't Floyd, he had far more power than Floyd ever had and he knew he had power.

Whether or like it or not this was the strategy both Leonard and Dundee felt was best in terms of beating Duran. Hell even the commentators in the fight were saying the same thing. So you're really starting to annoy me with your bull****.

Yes, Duran had all kinds of problems with ranked opponents. I guess those title defenses were all ****py fighters cause only ****py fighters get to fight for the tile. And as was his wins over Mamby, Palomino and Leonard, which some consider the biggest victory in the sport, yet, he's going to have trouble with the Hatton's and the Gatti's of the world.

And you wonder why no one but me is stupid enough to discuss this with you. I'm done discussing this with you Teen-child. The more relevant question is why does Floyd have so few fights during the same period. Over 18 years Duran had about 80+ fights.
