I didn't see this matchup more often,so yeah, here it is.

Considering that early on, De Jesus really showed some of Duran's weak spots by styling and beating him on the inside, considering Carter had similar attributes with this lead hand control too,who wins?

    Duran
I don't think anyone else at LW beats an in shape motivated Duran

Carter's very underrated. He was superb. Having said that... we're talking lightweight Duran..

Carter is competitive, but gets outclassed in the end. Carter was the ultimate jack of all trades, but he lacked the dynamism and physical talent of Duran.

No one matches Jimmy Carter as a pacifist.

    Oh wait..you mean the boxer!!

Ok,..no one matches Duran at Lightweight lol...

Duran wins. IMO although I have to say I havent seen Jimmy Carter fight so if I did maybe my opinion would be different...

Carter is underated ,he did ,"business,",sometimes losing fights he was favourite to win,but winning the rematch handily,a good pro ,but he doesn't beat Duran.

At his best I think he still could've troubled Duran,I might give him a slightly larger chance to beat him if you pair him with the De Jesus I Duran or the Lampkin one.
