 Didn`t know that, surprised at that comment from Duran, very surprised.

At least someone is giving Chavez the respect he deserves I suppose ;)

  3. That is Duran at his absolute prime... but Chavez at 135 wasn't quite there yet. Even then, Duran had more tools.

They would have ****ing beat on eachother though lol.. would have been a fan's dream.

Duran, his defense would be the difference.

What a rumble that would be.

Duran wins. At lightweight he was untouchable IMO.

Duran wins. Chavez was a beast but Duran was a ****ing god at light weight. He would be too relentless.

Duran by UD in one of the greatest, most punishing fights of all time. shaves a good 2-3 years off both guys careers......always been one of the greatest fantasy match ups

it would go the distance in an epic give and take battle.
i reckon duran wins a very close decision that many people would say belonged to chavez. dream fight.

the way Duran like to dip to his right would mean chavez would stop looking for that shot and just hook to the body more often where he know's he'd find Duran, I've seen alot of JCC LW fights and i've seen alot of Duran's LW fights, Duran looks more spectacular but Chavez never gave you a time where he looked vulnerable as Duran has looked at LW, like when he got dropped by DeJesus, that **** doesn't happen to Chavez...Plus the fact that Chavez goes to the body like he did means a guy like Duran get's affected by body shots more just because of the extra work he did in the gym just to make 135. Tell me this who ever went to Durans body like Chavez would?

Give it a rest you alt account troll. It's idiots like you that make people want to hate a fighter. No objectivity at all.... just want to talk ****.

And for the record, Duran wins in a FOTY battle. Much more skilled and a chin Chavez couldn't dent.

Duran wins this fight, by Boxing and showing more dedication to craft than people assumed he would. You don't get your FOTY candidate, you get a performance were a fighter shows you one more dimension to his game.

I would assume that Duran decides to war with Chavez in the 15th, knowing that he is ahead on the cards. (ALA Morales vs Pacquauio 1)
