I'm having trouble picturing this match in my mind. Rather than just go 'oh well, Duran would have won easily anyway' I figured I'd ask you guys.

How do you think the styles mesh? How would the match look? Would it be quick, long, a barn-burner or a boxer-punchers match?

I like to point out whenever Tszyu was challenged in a fight seriously he quit and was brutally KOed by a pretty good fighter. Roberto Duran would inflict alot of damage on Tszyu and make him look almost amaterish. This isnt a good style matchup as Tszyu likes his guys alittle more patient.

I bet if there was a poll for this question, Tszyu would tally about 40% of the votes, which is laughable.

Well, his opinion is clearly that Duran would best Tszyu. Maybe you should calm down.

BTW I wholehearedly agree with him.

Exactly, His biggest ****ing win is over Zab Judah nothing agianst him but thats not ATG material him and Miguel Cotto get praised to death for beating Judah yet Mayweather gets bashed for fighting him let alone schooling him. It pisses me off nothing agianst Tszyu he was a very good fighter and seems like a good man but I cant stand it when people say Shane Mosley and Oscar De la Hoya avoided him or hed beat them its ****ing laughable.

Duran, quite easily. Look at what Hatton did to him (please don't give me comments about age etc, Tyszu had less fights than Hatton and was betting favourite). Expect Duran to take him out between rounds 6 and 9.

Watch tszu hatton.....only more one sided. Not that Tszu wasn't a bad fighter but you could make an agruement that duran is top 10 p4p all time. So just based off that its hard to go against him. Additionally, like some people said tszu threw bomds and physically dominated guys but he needed space to set up his attack. So he'd probably do better against a guy like oscar then duran (not that he would have won that fight either but it wouldn't be as one sided as people would think).

I think that there is kind of a misconception concerning Tszyu over the Hatton fight, he is very underrated and underappreciated on this site.

Hatton beat tsyu with pressure. Duran has more power, more skill, a little less speed and DEFENSE. He would roast Tsyu in my opinion. I just cant see a flat footed fighter beating Duran prime for prime. Duran would just beast him. Vince phillips beasted tsyu with all out aggression.

Your point is what exactly? You think that the versions of Ricky Hatton and Vince Phillips that beat Tszyu were on par with or superior to a 140 lb. incarnation of Roberto Duran?

As far as Tszyu being underrated goes, sure there are people who don't give him the credit that he deserves. ThatÂ’s because there are plenty of people with agendas, biases and ulterior motives, and pretty much every boxer gets slighted by someone for that reason. From my perspective, Tszyu's accomplishments are also grossly overrated by many who seem to use inconsistent standards to judge what qualifies as "tough competition."

Now that I think about it, I did hear Manny Steward say Tszyu became very confused (I think he used the word 'panick') when someone crowds him, which definitely helps my imagination. I see....a smirking Roberto.

For real, I guess Roberto would walk him to the ropes and go to work. I agree with 8th round TKO.
