Assuming we see the best of both versions at these weight Duran wins all day long, he stops Pacquiao at both LW & WW in a 15 rd fight but Pac has never fought 15 rds so we`ll stick with 12 since both have gone that route a few times.

12 round LW bout - The Duran who KO`d Dejesus would KO the Pacquiao that KO`d Diaz.

12 WW bout - The Duran that beat Leonard would beat up & outpoint the Pacquiao that TKO`d Cotto.

Roberto was simply a better & more well rounded fighter than Pacman.

Ray Robinson was both greater & better than Duran.

    Exactly what I was thinking.

I always assumed that in a mythical matchup its alway the best versions vs each other unless stated otherwise, I cant imagine anyone that knows anything about boxing would pick Pac to beat the WW Duran of Palomino or SRL, that **** blows my mind.

Absolutely. Pac gets tagged a lot against guys like Margarito, Cotto, and Clottey. I love him as a fighter, but thinking about that, it's why (gun to my head) I'd ultimately favor Mayweather over him by a clear decision, let alone somebody like Roberto Duran.

At both 135 and 147 pounds, Pac KOs 'Hands of Steel' Duran in the early rounds.

I favor Duran at LW by TKO. At WW, pac's speed is slightly diminished but with his superb conditioning, I say it's a toss up. Duran UD Pacquiao maybe the answer.

I think Duran beats him worse at Welterweight. Manny would always have his moments, but he's a bit out of his depth here, whatever division they fight in.

... Duran beat SRL at welter, and he showed something extraordinary that night.

What in the world makes you think Pac has something to beat Duran? Duran is an absolute nightmare to a fighter like Manny. Duran has an iron chin, and no he doesnt get KD'd ever 3rd round...

Now that is an opinion of someone who in the words of Roger Mayweather "doesnt know **** about boxing".
