I'm truly surprised that this would be up for debate considering the comp Pacquiao has beaten.

Pacquiao might not go down right away, but he'd certainly be cut, and he could find himself against the ropes eating enough consecutive punches without the room or ability to return enough fire and cause the ref to stop it.

I forgot this is only a fantasy fight where Pac loses to all. In reality, well.... I'm sure Pac feels bad you lost alot of your hard earned cash betting against him.

It depends on which weight class they are going to fight. If they fight at 135-147, then Pacquiao will win by UD. He's faster than Duran.

In reality, Pacquiao never fought anyone as good as Duran. In reality, Duran beat a superior ATG.

True. But Pac has fought more of them and with the exception of Morales, has beaten them all without a loss, unlike Duran.

Another thing Pac has never done that Duran has: "No Mas"

Pac is no SRL, true, but Pac's hand and foot speed is up there among the greats.
His punching power is not a myth as well.
His precision is nothing to scoff at either, although he's no FMJ.
While I think that Duran will probably KO Pac in less than 8, I don't agree that it won't be competitive against a prime Pac.
Duran's style is what mid-range fighters like Pac mixes up well against.

If there's anybody in the fab four outside of SRL who will toy with Pac since the opening bell, it's gonna be Hearns, not Duran.
Tommy's style, range and power is all wrong against Pac, it doesn't need any explanation.

Pacquiao against that version of Ray Leonard: Pacquiao lying on the ground looking up at the lights

:huh Yeah, against ROBERTO DURAN. Trust me, that version wouldn't have been running away from Pacquiao. He'd be aggressive, cold-blooded, precise, and would look for the kill.

I agree that it would be competitive before Duran took over and won convincingly, Pac has too many great attributes to just lay there and fold, but his mid-range comfort zone is going to be invaded and exploited. He can turn what Marquez did into a hyper-aggressive offense and find more success more often.
