Let's see prime Duran at 135 lost to dejesus who in all fairness is two levels below sugar Shane so I stand by what I said oscar and Shane at 147 destroy Duran

    :rofl:nut

I think you need to go watch De Jesus if you think he's two levels below Sugar Shane. Anyway Duran KO'd De Jesus in their next two fights.

yes indeed.you should take the history glasses away for a second

the floyd hate is so strong in here.when you ******s understand that skillwise floyd is ALL TIME TOP 10 and it's not even debatable :deal

floyd is magician in the ring and in the history of the boxing we don't have many fighters at this level.floyd have run trough 130-154 and still these morons think floyd would be only a fringe contender at 70's :rofl

    Nice trolling :good

Floyd is second tier in terms of skill. Duran is top tier in skill and also in greatness. The bottom line is if you struggle to beat Castillo in your prime (should have been beat in the first fight) then you can never beat Duran or Chavez or Leonard or Hearns or Jose Naples, etc. Judging by how Mayweather coped vs a past it ODH then I'm not sure he can beat prime ODH.

Bull**** castillo was better than de jesus you no nothing about boxing shut up. He did lose to castillo . Floyd got the win but he lost his own father knows this. De jesus was far superior to castillo anyway.

Buchannan was also a great fighter in his time. These nutuhugger need to go watch these fighters and know the sport instead of looking up box rec and naming them idiots

Duran was always troubled by excessive movement and guys like viruet, Laing, and Leonard (in the second fight) showed that range was the only safe way (comparatively) to deal with Duran. Hearns naturally had an advatageous range because he was freakishly gifted and proportioned. Our three most probably skilled fighters of this relative time (Hopkins, floyd, and PAC) are all masters of movement and range. Believe it or not I think guys like Hatton, castillo at his best, and jcc bring more pressure than Duran but less skill and subtlety (of course jcc had skill).

I think Floyd does very well against Duran if he fights him like he fought Marquez or baldomir. I think he does more poorly if he fights him standing in the pocket, like cotto or even Canelo and Mosley - big mistake. Floyd doesn't make mistakes, though.

They're thick as **** mate, a lot of them just troll but there is fanboy's who actually really believe what they type.

Duran beating De Jesus and the brilliant Ken Buchanan could be better than anything Floyd ever did, especially at the lower weights. Duran fought those guy's in their prime at their natural weight. It would be like Floyd beating ODH or Mosely at lightweight when they were prime.
To be honest I woudd pick Buchanan to beat ODH and Mosely. Buchanan was a great boxer/mover with an ATG varied jab. On top of that he had a huge heart and a ridiculous Iron chin. He could box your face of or he could go to war.
