The Duran of Montreal fought like a beast the same way he tried to fight in the second fight. He did have to loose a good amount of weight for the second fight, but keep in mind Duran was known for blowing up in between fights. I still believe if Leonard fought him the way he did the second fight it would of been a much tougher fight for Duran. Duran was a all offense kind of guy, and Leonard did very little boxing the first time around. My opinion still stand even with Duran dramatic weight lost, because it wasn't the first time he gain weight in between fights, and he came in the ring the second fight showing no adjusments from the first. Which tells me even if he wanted to fight another style he probably would eventullay convert back to what he knows best, and that's brawling, and we see what Floyd does to fighters who try to pressure him.
Not sure what you mean by the Montreal performance I think he had. Many have called it one the greatest feats in boxing, and while I'm not one of those people, I think it's head and shoulders ahead of anything Mayweather done in his career. As for whether or not Mayweather is a coward (your words not mine) I've never called ANY fighter a coward in my life, but he is ducking Pac, as to why, I'm not sure, but most people certainly think he did. I [personally think Mayweather's not a fighter, a great boxer you bet, but a lay it all on the line fighter willing to go out on his shield to win, nope. In fact, Mayweather himself has said as much.

Well most have picked Duran when deciding between the two and I do too. But this is mostly based on longevity, talent wise I wouldn't argue against someone giving the edge to SRL.
