    It sounds like most of you think of Whitaker as only a defensive fighter...and not respecting his offensive skills . He had a better southpaw jab than Hagler . He was a great body puncher as well

    Felix Trinidad broke Whitaker’s jaw and he still went the distance...he’s not getting stopped

    It's more that Whitaker didn't have a lot of pop in his punches, and he's not discouraging Roberto one bit from coming in.

    I don't think his South paw jab was better than Haglers , but your right his offense repertoire was top notch. He was a hell of a body puncher too. He doesn't get the credit he deserve for his body punching.
