I find it interesting that there’s so much resistance to the idea of Floyd beating Duran, but so much acceptance of the idea of Sumbu beating Duran.

 

Kalambay too fleet of foot for a middleweight Duran.

 

Which weight are you talking about for Floyd and Duran in that hypothetical?

Did you miss the massive size difference between Floyd and Kalambay?

Do you really think Kalambay’s zero inch reach advantage and nonphysical style are the game changers here?

 

Comparing a 38 year old Duran fighting Sumbu and a 29 year old Duran fighting Floyd in Montreal is about as ludicrous as it gets.
Of course you could have Floyd take his beating at 135 lbs. but the results are the same .

 

Sumbu on points . A rather disappointing fight for casuals 's expecting a war .

Depends on which Duran shows up but above 147 especially ha had trouble with runners.

 

I'd expect the doctor to understand phrases aren't always used literally.

 

I don't really see a way that Duran beats Kalambay.
