I think Duran never loses in fantasy lightweight matchups so good luck with the thread!

Is this a joke?? Huge mismatch.

Lopez by way of skull crushing KO1. Duran has never seen anyone like The Takeover!!

I hate Lopez's ridiculous fortnite dances and flips, I’m picking Durán based on that

I know who he is, and Duran wouldve destroy him. Early....
Lopez is yet another premature ATG based on pretty ko's over 2nd and 3rd raters and getting by that other premature ATG Loma.
He has a" incredible" record of 16- 0. Now, he's somehow a challenge for Roberto Duran?
Give me a break. I can think of at least 20 Lightweights off the top of my head I'd pick to beat him convincingly.
This site is being over run by 90's babies. Lol.

Roberto Duran destroyed Ken Buchanan on June 26 1972, TKO 13. He was World lightweight champion until he left the division in 1979. His opponents were Esteban De Jesus, Hector Thompson, Edwin Viruet, Ray Lampkin, Vilomar Fernandez, Lou Bizzaro, and Guts Ishimatsu to name a few. Teofimo Lopez only faced Lomachenko, that is one quality opponent, as champion Duran has faced many styles. Joe Frazier once commented that Roberto Duran was a very scary fighter, that he had the look and eyes of Charles Manson in the ring, doing his best to maim his opponents. After he gave Lampkin a concussion, he stated that he would send Ray Lampkin to the morgue if they fought again. Some experts labeled Roberto as The Devils Son. In all fairness to Teofimo, who I think is very talented, he is not in the league of the legendary Duran quite yet. Yes he took down Loma but that is it, are his opponents in the same breath as Hands Of Stones adversaries? But at the present time I think that a raving homicidal Duran takes out Lopez in round 6. When Lopez has earned his stripes with the rest of the division successfully, I may have a different opinion, it is far too early.

Duran would make Lopez do the Floss all over the ring. Next gen stanky leg.

Many posters always do this, like Tyson Fury vs the past all time greats. I always reply the same way, Fury, a good fighter needs to earn his stripes before I declare him the winner over the all time greats, like Lopez big win over Lomachenko was impressive but it was one win. Just like Fury's win over Wilder, great win but it was one.
