based on the recent threads of the king of the classic duran...

roberto duran vs bob foster at lhw: i think that it is competitive but duran by ko
roberto duran vs ali at hw: yeah, don“t lie yourself, duran is th egreatest and he would have the power even at hw to destroy ali, duran did hit harder than foreman, liston or shavers, after of all ali was a more slow version of leonard and fduran did beat him.

roberto duran vs george foreman, duran would beat him in his own game, duran hits harder so he wins by ko.

roberto duran vs tommy morrison, not even a debate, morrison had a fllyweight chin and duran is hands of the stone... 1+1

roberto duran vs michael jordan at basket, duran would school him, duran was a master of the basket in the streets of panama.

roberto duran vs superman, duran by close ud. :hi:

Bull****! Have you seen the punch he knocked Buchanan out with? That shot would take out all of those guys. [To this day, Ken has not fully recovered from that punch, but steadfastly refuses corrective surgery to repair the damage. His ruined cup should be on display, maybe in Canastota, as word is he's still in possession of it.]

True, but it is always best to slightly underplay Duran's brilliance, so as to not upset those who really do think he could not of stepped in 1973 and beaten a Napoles, Monzon, Foster or Foreman...

If you really want to adress this point, adress it. Don't grossly exaggerate the issue just because it's easier.

Which specific things that have been said do you disagree with?

comparing duran with james toney h2h at 160 , comparing duran with julian jackson h2h in the peak weight of julian at 154, comparing duran with sergio martinez or carlos monzon at 160.. some guys picking duran against lamotta at 160, some guys picking duran by against toney, some guys saying that duran had a better resume than ali.. :lol:just pathetic and laughable... duran is one of the most overrated guys on this forum.

This posting is a joke of course, or it sure should be, but some of you seem to be responding as if the mythical matchups have the slightest of merit...why?
