Duran works him over. Floyd is forced to use all his energy to defend. Duran batters him to a decision. Clear UD, 8-4, 9-3, 7-4-1. Over 15, Floyd gets stopped late.

Absolutely Hearns. Tommie imho is the anti-Floyd. I can hardly think of a worse matchup.

Slick boxers with a chin and considerable power of their own. Leonard hit hard enough to get the attention of even Duran. Floyd's powder-puff punches would get the Duran sneer before he splattered PBF all over the ring.

While I agree with his response, you must be pretty far down on the IQ scale if that was a supreme act of intellect to you. Next time I will ask him to draw you a picture so that you are not so intimidated.

Maidana losing to an old Floyd at 147, and the fab 4 are both irrelevant to a discussion about Floyd vs Duran at lightweight.

I would favor a peak Duran over a peak Mayweather sure. The only problem is even at his prime Duran could be undisciplined or unmotivated. I mean as good as De Jesus was, Duran had no business losing to him, and he proved that in their next encounters. That's always been the problem with predicting how a Duran fight will go...is he going to give it his all...

    I'll keep it 100.

Judging from what took place in the Castillo fight.

I can see Floyd being overwhelmed and broken by Duran .

Yeah i believe Floyd would lose to Duran and might even get stopped as well.

On the flipside, Floyd has the best chance of beating Duran out of everyone from the Fab 4.

He doesnt have no chance against Hagler, Hearns or Leonard.

Against Duran, he definitely capable of pulling out a win.

The only fighter out of the Fab 4 that I would comfortably pick against Mayweather is Thomas Hearns. Every other top fighter from that era, Mayweather has a chance of beating, with Duran proving the less resistance. Duran can't deal with slick fighters.

Duran at 135 is possibly the best LW off all time and it's possible Duran could have beaten Floyd, but Floyd's defensive skills are some of the best I've ever seen and Duran would have a hard time catching Floyd Flush, where as I don't see Duran particularly hard to hit at any point of his career. It would be a great offense vs a great defense, and more times than i can count on my fingers the defensive fighter beats the offensive dynamo. It's one of the biggest hypothetical matches that always gets thrown around, but I think it would have been a 50/50 fight. Chavez/Duran/Pacquaio/Arguello/Whitaker/Mayweather/Mosley/De lahoya in a lightweight round Robin would have been ****ing epic! I thought I'd throw that in since we're talking about hypothetical matches!

Nah, I think that you were overawed by his response and that it's the best that you could do. :icon_pc: Then you went to your big sister, all confused, and she told you to claim that you were being sarcastic, so that you don't look like a total fool  < FACTS
