Jesus Christ man, stop dealing in such absolutes. It's a very simple way to view the world. Ray Robinson lost 19 times I guess Floyd is better than him too???

Duran started at 115 pounds and went up to 160 pounds to fight a prime Marvin Hagler at 160 pounds. Duran lost a narrow decision. Only someone who deals in absolute (fails to see the whole picture) would award Duran no credit for that.

He fought him in an immediate rematch so just stop it. It wasn't 3 or 4 years later it was a few months later and Duran quit like a *****. SRL fought a dumb fight had he fought like he did in the rematch for the first fight he would have made Duran quit then to. No mas.

He's not unbeatable, he's just never fought a great fighter in their prime.

Not entirely, he tried to establish range on the outside, but Duran's subtle placement of the jab was too much for him.

Look at round 4 here in the highlights. Leaonard after getting taken inside in round 3 tries to box and move. But Duran measures with the jab, lulls Leonard into thinking he's too long then Duran counters with a straight lead right. Perfect execution.

SRR is the most skilled boxer in the history of the sport and the GOAT his legacy is without question and no one will ever surpass him. Duran however isn't in that class.

So is Duran losing a narrow decision to a prime Hagler not something that should enhance his legacy? Or do you only deal in absolute?

I can too. I would pick Robinson and Hearns to beat Montreal Duran. But Leonard cannot beat Montreal Duran.

He lost. Jacobs arguably beat GGG but at the end of the day lost and that fight was closer than Hagler-Duran. Does that enhance his legacy? No it doesn't.

He gave a good effort but at the end of the day he lost just like Jacobs did with GGG.

For such a big Duran fan , you know absolutely nothing , i guess you are a troll.
Duran started at 135 Pounds and Mayweather at 130 Pounds.
And Mayweather fought Cotto at 154 Pounds and won. Duran fought Hagler at 160 and lost , so
what the F*ck are you talking about .
