The point is, Mister New Orleans Cheap Seats, is that Clay 'chose' when he saw fit to punish fighters for calling him his slave name. Others did it too, he didn't adminster the same beatings to them...he didn't shout out "What's my name? what's my name?" to Cooper or Bonavena- and a few others.
