I've seen a bunch of his fights but I would like to see people's top 10 wins so maybe a few fights squeak onto people lists that I have not seen before? Everyone has SRL number one so what were his best performances 2 thru 10?
I did a list awhile ago. 1 Sugar Ray Leonard 2 Ken Buchanan 3 Esteban De Jesus 2 4 Esteban De Jesus 3 5 Iran Barkley 6 Davey Moore 7 Carlos Palomino 8 Ernesto Marcel 9 Pipino Cuevas 10 Jorge Castro Looking at it now i would change some names around..... 1 Sugar Ray Leonard 2 Iran Barkley 3 Ken Buchanan 4 Esteban De Jesus 2 5 Esteban De Jesus 3 6 Ernesto Marcel 7 Carlos Palomino 8 Davey Moore 9 Pipino Cuevas 10 Jorge Castro I'm rating the Barkley win alot higher due to the size difference, i had Moore higher originally as Duran was a fairly big underdog i believe. But Marcel, Palomino, are much more highly rated all time so they go ahead of Moore for me. I'm keeping Cuevas, Castro, as the bottom 2 Cuevas was considerably past his best which is why i rank him lower than Moore even if he ranks higher historically. I have Castro in the top 10 because for me it's one of the best wins ever for a fighter in their mid 40s and Castro had held the Middleweight only 13 months prior to losing to Duran.
