    My take:

    Esteban Dejesus vs. Ismael Laguna
DeJesus by close but comfy points win. If you're not pressuring Dejesus, you're in trouble, even if you're as good as Laguna. 9-6.

    Ken Buchanan vs. Nicolino Locche
I think Ken will be the busier guy, but I like Nicolino to outbox him. Will be close all the way, and may come down to interpretation. 8-7.

    Ernesto Marcel vs. Flash Elorde
Ernesto is a class above imo, and though Flash will be competitive, I think Marcel takes it comfortably. 10-5.

    Emiliano Villa vs. Kenny Lane
Real close match up, probably depends on who's better on the day. I'll call it a draw.

    Ray Lampkin vs. Joe Brown
An even fight leading into the championship rounds, but old Bones will dig deep and probably stop Ray in the last round. TKO15

    Hiroshi Kobayashi vs. Sugar Ramos
Sugar in best form takes it comfortably, too much pressure, strength and class 10-5.

    Vilomar Fernandez vs. Johnny Busso
    I like Johnny, just. 8-7.

    Saoul Mamby vs. Battling Torres
Torres has the talent to take it. The guy that fought Ortiz probably outworks the somewhat sluggish Mamby and wins a decision, 9-6. Post Ortiz Torres and its clearly Mamby.

    Edwin Viruet vs. Douglas Vaillant
Close fight, maybe Viruet outslicks him. I dunno. Haven't seen enough of Vaillant to really say. Got to watch his fight with Len Matthews again to give a more informed opinion.

    Hector Thompson vs. Paolo Rosi
Both would get hurt and both would be close to getting stopped before one of them does. Anyone's guess as to who it is.

    Guts Ishimatsu vs. Len Matthews
Not sure.... Would definitely be close either way.

    Leoncio Ortiz vs. Teruo Kosaka
I'll go Kosaka here. The more tlaented fighter from the little I've seen.
    11-4.

    Lou Bizzarro vs. Johnny Bizzarro
Johnny all the way. 12 rounds to 3.

I'll just comment on the first three...These are match-ups I've never thought of before and they are excellent fights to ponder.
Laguna W15 DeJesus: I think Laguna would be able to get in and out quickly enough to eventually force Dejesus into fighting more aggressively, thereby taking him out of his usual comfort zone of being able to counterpunch.

Buchanan W15 Locche: Close fight. Locche would look very good in spots, but Buchanan would put the work in using quick double jabs and being quick enough to step with Locche, keeping steady pressure and making him react to a higher work rate than he is accustomed. Buchanan would (and could) keep his punches short and fast, not powerful by any means, but steady.

Marcel W15 Elorde: It's a guess, but I think Marcel through his footwork would be able to dictate better from a distance...But Elorde had wins over some fantastic opposition, he could win this as well. Very tough to pick!

Are we talking prime Old Bones who ****ed up Dupas and Smith...or the one that Ortiz faced?

Id slightly lean towards the younger and sharper looking Lampkin to outpoint that Brown.

But Joe to stop him late at his best.

I'll just comment on the guys I know.

    Esteban Dejesus vs. Ismael Laguna

I think with Laguna's speed and movement he can take DeJesus out of his usual style and stop his effective counters. Laguna would be getting off first and moving away before DeJesus has time to counter IMO, so DeJesus would be forced to lead and may have some success with his cultured left hand, but ultimately I think Laguna's speed is the deciding factor, in a close bout though.

    Ken Buchanan vs. Nicolino Locche

Cracking match up here. I like Buchanan in this, mainly because he is much more steadier. I think he would be sticking that jab out into Locche from long range, and it might not land but it is making him look busier and stopping Locche doing anything. When Buchanan does get suckered in, I think his body work could do a lot to counter the head movement of Locche, as his body is hittable IMO, but his head work lures you in. I think in the end Buchanan is just the much more versatile and robust fighter and takes a 10-5 sort of decision, with Locche having some moments of pure glory.

    Ernesto Marcel vs. Flash Elorde

From what I have seen of both, Marcel to me looks much better. I think his movement and sharp counters could off set Elordes quick snaps of shots and generally keep the Fillipino off balance, for a wide decision for Marcel.
