In my opinion a guy with close to 80 fights at lightweight who then moves up, beats an undefeated atg in Leonard two weight classes above his prime weight, then beats a young undefeated Jr MW titlest, then is the first to go the distance with Hagler, the dominant middleweight of his time, then beats a much too big Barkley is an ATG for sure because HE STARTED AT 135 and had a hall of fame career there, he should never have been messing with guys that big in the first place, let alone beating them or just losing to them. Also, his win over Jorge Castro and his close performance against a much younger Camacho the first time are under-rated. Castro beat Derrick Harmon this decade, who is ENORMOUS, and Castro was also the first guy to go the distance with Jones. Only Castro and Hopkins hung with Jones at Middleweight. Duran was old and over the hill when he fought him. Duran wasn't fighting at catch weights.
