Just because a fighter doesn't want to take a fight, does automatically make it a duck.

Katsidis has proven himself quite well in our sport, as a legit warrior, who doesn't duck dangerous comp.

No he is not ducking. Kats doesn't know the meaning of the word. He's lost his brother, lost the fight of his life and now his home town that he grew up in, where majority of his family lives has been under a river for 2 weeks... and you ****s have the nerve to say "man up!"

I am in Australia and Toowoomba where Katsidis if from has just has once of the worst floods in Australias History! The whole town was engulfed! think before you post you dick!

You could talk for a long time about why it's wrong, but, honestly, he deserves so much respect. He is the embodiment of everything which made boxing a multi-national, multi-million dollar sport, and everything which will keep bringing fans in for the next century. A true warrior.

Besides, the fight will only be delayed. Not an issue.

Katsidis has been in there with better fighters than Guerrero. There's no reason to assume that Katsidis is ducking him.

OMFG, dude will someone get this guy a tissue, please man I'm asking you kindly, stop. No where did anyone imply the floods weren't bad...ever. I do like Guerrero, is that against the rules...what's this **** supposed to mean? I don't hate Katsidis, I like him fine, my point is that I would think his brother's death would be a little bigger deal than the flood, and there could possibly be another reason for the fight not happening, just my opinion.

However, Schaefer said Katsidis told him he would be unavailable for March 5 because of the massive flooding near his home in Australia.
"The floods have really affected him," Schaefer said. "His focus and his mind aren't there. He won't be mentally ready. He said the floods are absolutely devastating. So we will see if he will be ready for a month later."
Schaefer said if Katsidis was available he might move Guerrero-Katsidis to the April 9 pay-per-view undercard. If Katsidis isn't available, Guerrero may remain on March 5 and fight another opponent.
