"He is a good fighter & will give anyone a tuff fight BUT is very beatable. Overated"

    I agree here!

    Mauricio Herrera beat him....
Timbo brawled like a dummy if he boxed he coulda won easily...

I also think BamBam KOs him
BamBam has never lost a brawl he has a iron chin good power and is bigger than Provo

    Mike,Pac and Abril outboxed him

I think beating him is easier said than done and I think he deserves to be considered #2 at 140.

Based on one win over Alvarado?

Don't you think Garcia and Matthysse are still the clear cut top 2 at JWW?

No also based on impressive performance against former 140 #1 and p4p top 3 Tim Bradley.

No I don't think it's clear cut at all. We don't know where Provodnikov stands compared to those two until he fights them.

Yes he is being overrated whilst still clearly good a little bit like a certain trainer. Robert Garcia perhaps?

ya guys, from the way people rate him on esb he is way way way over rated.
he isnt a top fighter at 40 nor 47.

his claim to being even rated is losing to a ill prepared mentally and physically tim bradley who some people have him top 5 p4p

i think thats more absurd than having prov in the top 5 at 140.

truth is he is a decent fighter with ok power, terrible defense and very questionable stamina. LM and DG would utterly destroy him.. sh!t he couldnt handle bradley and that was a bradley he caught and hurt bad early

I didn't watch the fight but apparently he got robbed by Herrera. Against, Bradley (who is a very good fighter) he gave a very good showing, don't give me this he fought stupidly excuse, maybe Provodnikov's pressure didn't allow Bradley simply to outbox him easily and get into a groove?

    agree, kinda.
i dont think for 1 second bradleys stratergy was to go in there and fight toe to toe but he got caught with just about everything rus threw.. looked like tim wanted to get some payback from the 1st round but was unable to and realized he couldnt handle rus power.. once he accepted that he knew he was starting way behind the 8 balls and needed a shitload of points or he was going to lose.

tim started boxing and quickly realized prov couldnt handle someone boxing him. then tim got too much confidence and tried to dp too much to seal the deal only to find himself getting hurt again and pretty much tko'd in the 12th. i just dont think prov nor timmie are on the levels a lot of fans put them on..

it was all due to tim getting hurt bad and his ego almost cost him. i will say think he gained experience, he gained some tough outings.. calling expose is kind of unfair but he showed he can be beaten for sure a and that was from a fringe contender. not some elite fighter.

tim to me is a good solid fighter but not elite

The Bradley fight was at WW. Doesn't apply toward his 140 ranking...
