Hell NO...NO-ONE wants to see this ****!!!! I want to see Alvarez fight with some young fighters that can Flat-out Box with defense, speed and athleticism...Like WW's Antwone Smith, Mike Jones and Lenard Lane. And Because Alvarez has already weighed-in over the WW max 147lbs 8 times including 4 times over 150lbs...He can fight at Jr. Middleweight. So with that being said, would love to see him fight Omar Henry or Shawn Porter. MAKE IT HAPPEN!!!!

I don't know. Canelo might get knocked out. I've never seen Margarito go on the back foot and fight like Leonard against anyone.

He's a little young to go against real talented slicksters. Give him a year or two of fighting first. I mean the dude's only twenty, one more year and he'd still be one of the youngest fighters in the sport.

Relax. The kid's still only 19. He is already fighting boxers with better records than PBF did at his age(even with all the amateur experience.)

I think that's a bunch a BS. Antowne Smith just turned 23 and has less then 20 fights. And was the underdog in 4 of his last 6 fights...Former Undefeated Mexican Prospect Norberto Gonzalez, Former Undefeated Henry Crawford, Colombian Juan Navoa and Battle-tested vet Richard Guitierez. Shawn Porter is 22. Omar Henry has only 9 fights.

Saul Alvarez has 33 fights and has been fighting Pro for 5 years. These fighters are prospects just like Alvarez. Oh...But it's ok for them to get tested early against good fighters, but to ask the same of Alvarez is BLASPHEMY!!!! Everyone is ready to call Alvarez a Superstar for winning a fight against a guy who started his career at 122lbs. Alvarez was 150lbs at the weigh-in and 157lbs on Fight night and GOT ROCKED by a fighter who fought at light 3 fights ago. It's time to stop this Slowly bringing along a Mutha'fuka' BS. That's what I respect about Alfred Angulo...in his 16th Pro fight he fought a Former Belt Holder in Cintron. Yeah, he lost...But he's a better fighter for it!!!!

Ilve been watching some of his fight on youtube and he's agressive just like Garcia, two very similar styles. If Garcia made Marga go backwards and I know for sure Canelo aint better than Margo. Canelo gets hit a lot too can he take Amenaza's power. He must be able to pop cuz Margo didn't want to trade with him. Maybe they can make the fight at a catch weight of 150-151. In my opinion Canelo might get KO'd

Garcia will be looking to redeem himself after getting KDed by Margarito then clowned by him. He was on a nice 14 fight winning streak before losing to Margo. If Canelo goes toe to toe, Garcia will knock his head off but if he decides to use his boxing skill and movement he should be able to get the decision unless he is dropped by something big from Garcia. Although slow of hand and feet, Garcia has big power and a very solid beard. He is not your typical tuneup opponent after a long layoff and getting brutally KOed so I give Margo credit for taking on such a dangerous opponent.

I'm not on the "Canelo is chinny" bandwagon, but Garcia does hit a lot harder than Jose Cotto.

Canelo needs to box, box, box. No machismo, no brawling.

If Margarito can do it, there's no reason the more talented Alvarez can't.

Seriously, though. If he gets drawn into a firefight he's taking a siesta.

I love boxing but I've just started to follow it a couple years ago. how would you guys compare Garcia's punching power to say Cintron, Cotto, or Williams? none of those guys cud make Margo take a backwards step

In a p4p sense Cotto may have hit about as hard at 140/147.

Straight up, none of them can hit as hard as Garcia can at 154.

That's why Margarito changed his style and boxed against him.

Garcia's powerful but slow as ****.

Definitely more powerful than those guys with a great chin and decent stamina. He's basically 170lbs of muscle and built like a tank. Kirkland might be the only one at 154 dumb enough to go toe to toe with Garcia but he doesn't have the best chin. I suspect Angulo would use far more boxing if they ever fight as even Margo known for going toe to toe boxed the guy after a few rounds, realizing he wasn't going anywhere so that speaks volumes about Garcia's durability & strength.

Angulo is one tough SOB! I saw a youtube video were Amenaza took it to Perro. Dam a lot of possibilites @ 154 for any of them and all very good fights. Garcia, Angulo, Cintron, Williams, Martinez, Kirkland, Cotto, and Margarito. Any of these fights against each other will be a sure boxing fans dream.
