Duran would not go down with a left hook which is what Tito would have to get him with. Duran lost to Hearns because Tommy hit him with everything fast. Tito does not have that ability, he is great but not the puncher and speed of Hearns. So this means Duran would be able to survive, and the style of Tito would allow Duran to wear him out and stop him. in about 11.

 

Duran was a better boxer than Hopkins, and he was in fact one of the slickest pressure fighters of all time. I personally think his defense was better than Hopkins's at his peak, though not as effective at MW.

 

The Duran of the Palomino and Leonard fights would absolutely destroy Tito. Tito wouldn't even stand a chance.

 

No Tito's right was not as good as his left. No way. His main punch was his left hand, the right was decent. But do you really think Tito's right would hurt Duran? His left hook might but then would Duran get hit by it much? Tito's punch was his left, and he had quick enough hands.

Prime De La Hoya is a tougher test for Duran. But I think both are UD wins.
