Good right hand over the top by Simčič as Adamek leaned back. Simčič keeps coming forward and lobbing his fists up as Adamek tries to slap in at his head with a left hook from around the side. They tie up and Jumbo leans down on the Spartan and tries to pin his arms. Long whipping body shots by Adamek, then a few long strides back. Simčič tries to rush in on him and has his head snapped back by a long jab. Adamek is finding his comfortable range and taking aim with long right hand leads. Right to the body by Simčič diving forward. Simčič still telegraphing his blows by barking as he fires. Adamek checks an overhand right with a quick swing of his left arm.

Round 3

1-2 to the body and then a hook up top to finish by Simčič. His combos are slow but powerful, and if he can keep Adamek frozen stiff and shelled up with there always being somewhere to hit on that long target of a body no matter where his gloves are... Aggressive jabs to the throat by Simčič, backing Adamek up. Slapping hooks by Adamek briefly coming forward before backing out again. A pair of towel-snaps from outside by Adamek, flopping into a clinch. A minute left in the round. Left hook to the body by Adamek, but Simčič moves to his own left to take away most of the impact and cause Adamek's glove to just slide against his hip. Chopping upward attacks by Simčič. Nice combos ripping the body now by Simčič, winding up and and clapping below the ribs on both sides. A few body shots in return by Adamek. Left upper-hook by Simčič sneaking under Adamek's guard. Chopping overhand by Simčič.

Round 4

They take turns throwing straights in twos and threes as the other man tightens up and blocks. Back and forth, nobody getting through and landing. No real edge in numbers. Now Simčič starts to follow each combo with another one. Bark-bark-bark, bark-bark-bark. A little busier, gaining momentum. Adamek shuffles back and circles to his left. Slapping almost open-handed hook by Adamek while turning Simčič, and a clinch. Stiff up-jabs by Simčič, popping Adamek on the jaw as the Czech tries to lean straight back and counter with long left hooks. Chopping high combos by Simčič coming forward as Adamek tries to time and blast him with a plunging right hand that misses his chin and hits him on the chest instead.

I agree, all but the first IMO. He was still in "park" then, now he's at least in 2nd gear.

Not sure he has a 3rd gear tbh. :yep

 

Round 5

Adamek leans in and drops a left hook to the body. Simčič blocks some jabs and powers forward with a high reaching 1-2, knocking Adamek back a step despite getting partially blocked. Very heavy blows by Simčič. The right hand is really keeping Adamek honest to a fault. Adamek pops a double jab only after sliding back well out of range of the right hand. Simčič chops away, trying to engage Adamek and get him to trade with him. Adamek leans against him instead, then springs back to the outside to peck with jabs and long hooks. Hard 1-2 by Simčič backs Adamek up while landing on his gloves. A high Simčič jab is blocked but he follows up with a hard body shot while Adamek's arms are held up. High 1-2 by Simčič. Adamek tries to time him with a right hand and lands softly but gets hit to the body.
