Anybody get to Robin Park on Friday? I noticed a local lad from my parts called Jack Arnfield debuted with a 1st round stoppage, wondered how he looked, he has done well in the amateur ranks to date.
1m 22secs, easy win. Spoke to bobby rimmer, he said Jack was the bigger lad and they knew from the second they got in the ring jack would win. Bobby sai d "I told jack to use the jab and he'd win easy, but he nailed him straight away!!"
Thanks for the update pal, hopefully I'll get along to his next fight, he's got a good mix of boxing ability combined with a good dig, lets see if he's got the final ingredient to do well in this game........dedication.
I can second that having sparred with him several times and watched him grow up- he's very good. Dead pleased for him he's a real nice kid.
Yeah Jeff, lets hope he goes a long way, must say as well Stalmine is not exactly the Bronx in terms of a hot breeding ground for fighters!!!
