I scored this fight for Reid also, meaning that Reid beat BOTH Joe Calzaghr and Sven Ottke in my book.
If he misses the jab does that mean he doesn't throw the right? Because if he still throws it, wouldnt that be more dangerous than a lead right on its own.
As competeive as it was, consider Calzaghe won the first four rounds, not up for dispute. Are people actually suggesting Reid won 7 of the last 8 rounds? Reid's lead right hand is infinitley better than Kessler's also (though Calzaghe had difficulty defending against it due to the damaged left).
It was survival of the fittest. I truely believe Joe Calzaghe evolved that night from a regular boxer to a form of human never seen before. He was injured early (basically only had one arm) and still managed to find a way to win.
