If they did documentaries on guys like Reid I would be thrilled but guys like him always fall through the cracks and are relegated to footnote status. At least he got a taste of being a champion.

Well, i'd imagine a Robin Reid autobiograpgy would be 1092847364838 million times more interesting than Amir Khans, Lewis Hamiltons, Steven Gerrards, Wayne Rooneys and Andy Murrays put together.

At least he had a career

Reid would have a story or two to tell if he ever released a book. He's mixed it with pretty much the who's who at 168 in the last 10 years. He and Calzaghe almost came to blows in the car park after the press conference before their fight, he was a pikey, male model, WBC champion, the only man who's ever got to Joe Calzaghe, an Olympic medalist, a man with a temper and a chip on his shoulder... would be fascinating.

exactly. But no, a bunch of ****s decide that it'd be better to publish Coleen "i really am with Wayne for his looks" McClouglin's autobiography. ****ing sickening.

You've listed exactly why the man should have a book and even a documentary on him.
