I fancy THIS version of Hopkins to beat Pavlik & if he doesnt, he will at least lose close on pts, Pavlik wont stop Hopkins IMO.

What are you smoking?????? :smoke And can I have some! :D Pav isn't close to being an ATG...YET. By beating up on old man popkins that doesn't warrant anything close to the status you are trying to convince others he will deserve.

Sure beating and dominating Bhop would be great for his resume but lets be real....this is the same Bhop that just faught one of the best P4P fighters in boxing in Joe C and he lost albiet a very close fight....A prime Bhop would have won that fight and in a more dominating fashion so you have to know PAV is getting a fraction of what he would have gotten had Bhop been prime.

LOL....Vince! You're a clown bro!:rofl being exciting isn't what warrants an ATG status otherwise Gatti would be the at the top of the list and DOMINATING at 160 for over 10 years and 20 successful defenses is nothing to be taking lightly. Sure there weren't guys like Hearns, Hagler or Ray but it was a decent era of MW without many guys that had the charisma or who were able to catch the imagination of the boxing fans.....it doesn't mean the guys like Joppy, Holmes, Daniles, Allen , echols ect were not good or were bums...Like Bhop...they lacked the charisma of a James toney, Roy jOnes or maketabliltiy of a Ray leonard or Oscar De La Hoya. It's super easy to just spout off nonsens at face value and ignore the layers and substance that would make up any era of boxing...but it makes you look like you Know NILL about the sport....the era of MW's Hop faught were very solid....its not like the present HW division.

This sport isn't called "FIGHTING"...it's BOXING. While I do believe Kelly is one hell of a figher with the hear to go along he's nothing close to the BOXER that Roy Jones was or any other of the truely great vets of this sport. He could get there some day but that day is not today. He's young and has his whole career left...but Id be surprised if he didn't half the things Bhop has done by the time kelly calls it a day.

well, thats what you saw, but the point is he still needs to prove himself to be compared to the best. so far his best wins are against taylor and taylor isnt exactly a HOFamer

I'm picking Pavlik to beat BHop by decision, but I have to disagree.. I believe BHop would school Pavlik back in his prime and Pavlik isn't in the same league as Monzon, Hagler, and Robinson..

Puhleeze...:patsch I think Pav stops an old, fading Hopkins tomorrow, but am in no way ready to start believing that he has achieved parity w/the likes of Hagler, etc. at this point.

this guy is a trypical jockrider, 1 day before the fight he is calling Hopkins a myth, but the second the fight is over he will call Hopkins the 2nd coming of Sugar Ray Robinson.
