What a ****in joke. Pavlik got outworked by a damn near 43 year old man who had been throwing 20 punches a round for the last couple of years. Pavlik got embarrassed out there. He looked totally lost. Hopkins put on a clinic and showed Pavlik why he was foolish for overlooking Hopkins. Now Pavlik and his fans can return from fantasy land where they actually believed that Pavlik can stop a Hopkins and deserves to be mentioned along the likes of Robinson, Monzon and Hagler. Time for Pavlik to boil himself back down to 160 here he can take advantage of smaller fighters.

Hopefully Roy Jones beats Calzaghe so that Hopkins can take care of some unfinished business.

 

Please. Gatti and Pavlik can't hold Sweet Pea's jockstrap. They are both human punching bags. Guys like them are a dime a dozen. It doesn't take much talent to throw a double jab and get your face pounded in. There are plenty of guys that can do that.

 

Im not sure Abraham has a pretty good defense and he looks rugged as hell I fell in a toe to toe battle he's the stronger fighter, and unless Pavlic and get some slickness and ring smart about him , he loses a toe to toe shoot out with the stronger Abraham.

I may be wrong but we will see.

It will be a good matchup that's for sure. Although I feeel Pavlik beat Miranda easier than Abrahm did. If Kelly learns to fight tall he should keep Abraham on the end of his jab and set up his right hand.

Kelly is a flawed fighter no doubt his lack of a inside fighting game was exposed by Hopkins and he has no answer for movement as well. I think if gets with a real trainer he might be able to get better.
