    I honestly think you make a point here.... not sure if I agree with it... but that would make more sense if Ali never lost

    SRR lost in his prime.

    Ali lost his prime in exile. And had an "L" after he came back from it and wasn't quite the same. And Ali never lost to a MW.

    Either way, it is a game of choice. however, both Ali and SRR stayed to long and piled up losses.

    Either way, overall, SRR wasn't KING. Joe Louis was; SRR, no. Ali was; SRR, no.

    HW = KING

    under = Princess

    Just the way it is.

    Here is an example:

    Do you remember that scene in "RAGING BULL" when Jake and Joey are talking about this....

    Jake: What's wrong with me? My hands.
    Joey
    : Your hands? What about 'em?
    Jake
    : I got these small hands. I got a little girl's hands.
    Joey: I got 'em too. What's the difference?
    Jake
    : You know what that means? No matter how big I get, no matter who I fight, no matter what I do, I ain't never gonna fight Joe Louis.
    Joey
    : Yeah, that's right. He's a heavy-weight. You're a middle-weight. What of it?
    Jake: I ain't ever gonna get a chance to fight the best there is. And you know somethin'. I'm better than him. I ain't never gonna get a chance. You're askin' what's wrong.
    Joey
    : But you're crazy to even think about somethin' like that.

    Alis resume shits all over SRR honestly Ali has the best resume of any boxer. Also Ali is better H2H and had a FAR greater impact on the sport

    Ali considered him the greatest of all time not p4p the best of all time ..What more do you want if Ali was even a fan ?

    Muhammad Ali called Sugar Ray "the king, the master, my idol."

    Langford could be No. 1 as far as I'm concerned. A force from Lightweight to Heavyweight.

    :patsch no p4p is basically who would beat who if they were at the same weight it does not take into account resume or impact on the sport. an example would be that while mayweather is higher than pacquiao p4p as is he has superior boxing skills. pacquiao is higher ATG because he has fought better opposition.:deal:deal

    SRR. . . no debate. . . GOAT. . To drop a Mayweather Sr. quote on the issue: "SRR is not the best of this time, that time, part-time, or full-time. . . BUT OF ALL TIME."

    And that will conclude this thread.

    /THREAD.

    Langford and Greb are plenty comparable to him in terms of resume. Ability is where he runs away with it for a lot of people. There is actually film of the man, even if a significant amount is during his time at Middleweight. 10 Hall of Famers and no fewer than (50) Top 10 rated contenders makes for a record you could deem a little better than good.

    Sure if you just look at the numbers it seems like he has the best resume but if you actually look at them most of them are nobodies.
