As my Robinson vs Marciano thread has become such a hot topic of conversation, I thought I'd ask how people feel Robinson would fare against Walcott or Charles.

Robinson came extremely close to winning the light-heavyweight title in June 1952 and as it was quite common for world champions to move up a division and challenge for the title (both Moore and Maxim did so and challenged for the heavyweight title) so a discussion about a hypothetical fight between Robinson and Charles (who had recently been champion) or Walcott (who still held the title) is not completely ridiculous.

    Thoughts on the outcome?

Maybe I should do a Tyson vs McGuigan thread.

    This is fun!

Charles may have been the greatest light heavy of all time, Walcott dropped Marciano who was more sturdy and robust than Ray.

I don`t think anyone could beat Charles at light heavy, although a catchweight fight at what is now super middle might be a bit different Charles had some early fights at middle I believe, Walcott was more powerful than anyone that ever hit Robi, too powerful I`d say.
